Though we are known for being The Country’s Youngest Shakespeare Troupe, our goal of bringing Shakespeare and the arts to our under-served or forgotten communities is dearest to our hearts. Our Shakespeare in the City program reaches under-served communities of children across Los Angeles. Together, with our resources and yours, we will bring kids off the streets, and into a theater, thereby opening a world of potential and possibilities.
The Willful Minors is our Shakespeare Troupe in community service. Our young volunteer players have performed Shakespeare in venues all over L.A. – from street festivals, to senior citizen facilities, to libraries, and more.
Here’s where you come in
We need your help. Your donation can help us:
- create the sets and costumes that support the wonderful work our Players bring to the stage.
- compensate our support staff for the time, energy and love they pour into the productions.
- bring the Los Angeles Drama Club to a wider audience through our Outreach programs, Shakespeare in the City, and The Willful Minors.
