Florence Griffith Joyner Elementary

Los Angeles Drama Club has been a part of the Joyner curriculum since 2019, working primarily with 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. During our residency, we meet with each class once per week, as our teaching artists guide the students in theater games, vocal and physical exercises, and exploration of Shakespeare’s stories and text. The residency culminates in a performance to which classmates, parents and friends of the school are invited. Joyner is affiliated with Partnership for Los Angeles Schools.
